Since there’s really no better accessory than a cocktail in your hand, each week brings you a tasty adult beverage from one of our favorite drinking establishments, complete with recipe. This week: The Moon Over Manhattan at Kazimierz World Wine Bar If there’s a reason we’re going out for drinks in Old Town Scottsdale, Kazimierz World Wine Bar is it. Live entertainment, plush couches and cute bartenders aren’t the only reasons we love this bar; It’s the cute bartenders that will gladly hold our hands through the extensive wine list and invent on the spot high quality cocktails to fit our personal liking. The Moon Over Manhattan is a new take on an old-world classic Manhattan. Moon in the name signifies the cocktails main ingredient–a rare moonshine-esque white whiskey that takes this classic cocktail (and your buzz) to new heights.

Ingredients: 3 oz Charbay’s Double & Twisted White Whiskey In a shaker, combine whiskey, liqueur and vermouth. Shake with the amount of effort that deserves a stiff cocktail reward. Pour contents into a chilled martini glass and garnish with an Amarena Cherry (yes, even the cherry garnish has to one- up a standard maraschino).
