One new idea for every day in 2011. We’re talking big, small, local, international, in action and on the drawing board. Here’s today’s — what’s yours?

In June, Kyle Durie is taking a 1982 Chevy step van and her letterpress on the road.

The founder of Portland-based Power and Light Press is hoping to visit schools, craft fairs, and cities all over the U.S. (we might have to lobby her to come to Phoenix) to share her passion for old school printing for eight months.

She’s currently working on setting up her mobile print shop with a table-top press for smaller projects, a proof press for posters, and cabinets for storage space. No word on where she plans to sleep.
