One new idea for every day in 2011. We’re talking big, small, local, international, in action and on the drawing board. Here’s today’s — what’s yours?

Sandra Reichl has more than a few characters in her head — and good thing, because she’s on a mission to draw one every day.

The Austrian illustrator has lived in Vienna for more than 10 years and is inspired by the people she sees around her. She writes that A Face A Day is her effort to “present the beauty of the Viennese and Austrian human beings to the world.”

Follow her progress on her website, where she illustrates a face and tells a brief story in a few sentences.
