Now that Black Friday is mercifully behind us, we can move on to Music Store Monday. A day that doesn’t require you to form a line at midnight, get trampled by hordes of overzealous bargain shoppers or even pepper sprayed to grab your special holiday record releases.
Record shops across the Valley including Zia Records,, Hoodlums and Revolver Records celebrated the craziest shopping season of the year with extended hours, discounts and Record Store Day limited edition releases to help celebrate Buy Local Week.

Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings are this week’s top spot holders with their funky RSD exclusive release, Soul Time!, followed by North Carolina natives Crooked Fingers.
