The Arizona Science Center might be the only place in town where promoting a gallery showcasing the “sights, sounds, and smells” of the human digestive process would pay off.
The center’s newest permanent gallery, “All About Me,” gives kids and adults the chance to explore the human body through multimedia demonstrations (don’t worry, they don’t all smell bad).
Some highlights include a mock-heart surgery demonstration, hearing your heart play on a bass drum, a walk-through model of the human stomach, and a new wheelchair race exhibit.

The gallery is free with a general admission ticket ($12 for adults, $10 for seniors and kids, or free with a membership). The center is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day.
