Since there’s really no better accessory than a cocktail in your hand, each week Jackalope Ranch brings you a tasty adult beverage from one of our favorite drinking establishments, complete with recipe. This week: What She’s Having at Lux.
If you can’t pick your poison at Lux, just order What She’s Having.
The ultra-hip coffee shop/bar/restaurant on Central Avenue is the place to see/be seen/hide from every other hipster who’s looking to see/be seen/hide.
If you’re a fan of tequila, What She’s Having is a cool solution that’ll enable you to seamlessly call an order to the bartender. (And if you’re feeling adventurous, just ask to his notebook full of Lux-original cocktails, organized by liquor.)

Ingredients: – 2 ounces of blanco tequila (Lux uses Casa Noble)- 1 ounce elderflower- 1 ounce fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice
Method: – Mix ingredients in a shaker (for 15 to 20 seconds). – Shave a thin slice of orange peel, squeeze over drink, and lightly run around rim. – Enjoy/be seen/hide.
