Camelback Flowershop has moved.

Owned by Teresa Wilson, the high-end flower shop in the Arcadia district had been at Camelback and 44th Street for around 30 years. But that changed after Friday, October 10. Shop manager Laura Reed says that the building the shop left will be torn down, though she isn’t sure when that will happen. LGO Hospitality plans to build a new restaurant at the location.

While Reed and her staff are sad to leave the longtime location, she says the new spot is around three times larger. The store reopens at the new location at 41st Street and Indian School Road at 9 a.m. on Monday, October 13.

$30,000

Known for its high-end floral arrangements, elegant succulents, and best of the best bouquets, the shop has two locations, including the one that recently relocated.

The second location is an eensy shop found inside Chestnut Fine Foods & Provisions. This pocket-size flower shop packs a punch with its unique high quality floral arrangements, sweet little air plants, local artwork. And unlike Camelback Flowershop’s main location, it is open on the weekends..

While the shop’s grand opening date has yet to be determined (early November is the tentative plan), the soft opening will be the entire month of October.

Camelback Flowershop is open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The shop will continue to host Fresh Flower Happy Hour every Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. when walk-ins can score half-off vase arrangements and get deep discounts on loose stem flowers. Regularly priced vase arrangements typically cost $125 or more. And loose stems are typically $2 or more. See www.camelbackflowershop.com for more information about Camelback Flowershop.
