Thread, a one-day-only, indie-centric retail fashion show and sale, is posting up in Phoenix for the first time.

Founded by London-born Lara Matthews in Los Angeles in 2003, Thread showcases wares by emerging DIYers from spots such as San Diego, Seattle, Miami, and the United Kingdom.

The Phoenix show plans to boast hundreds of products from local and national designers — ranging from men’s and women’s threads as well as jewelry and fashion accessories — by exhibitors such as Angela Johnson and Just Jane Boutique.

Thread makes its Phoenix debut from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, December 12, at the Icehouse, 429 West Jackson Street. Tickets are $5 online or $10 at the door.

Check out Thread’s website for more details and below for photos of past shindigs.
