Here’s a sneak peak at our entry…

As expected, creating our jackalope piñata was a semi-complicated process. We used a combination of the balloon method we explained in our last pinata post, and used chicken wire and paper mache for the jaw and ears.

There are, of course, some details you might not be able to make out in the photo — more reason to come check it out this Friday when the show opens at 7 p.m.. 
The piñatas dropped off today will be on display for First and Third Friday of March, throughout Art Detour weekend, and for the First and Third Friday of April. Stay tuned for photos …
