Keep Phoenix New Times Free
We’re aiming to raise $10,000 by April 26. Your support ensures New Times can continue watching out for you and our community. No paywall. Always accessible. Daily online and weekly in print.
Roll Acosta is helping us start 2012 off on the right foot with just that.
Don’t miss the band’s residency at the Rogue Bar. They’ll be playing every First Friday for the first four months of the year. Best of all, they’re amping things up a bit by giving a theme to each show.
The January show will be an all-original Roll Acosta set. The February show is going to be a night of Beatles tributes. The March show will feature the band’s favorite songs from 2000 to 2011. Lastly, the April show will be a variety of old, new and even unheard material.
Other local talent that will be joining Roll Acosta in their Occupy Rogue Bar stint include Russian Arms and Optics, The Foleys, Field Tripp and Tugboat, among others.
The cover is just $5 and doors open at 7 p.m. for all four shows. As usual, shows at the Rogue are for those 21 and up. More information about Roll Acosta’s upcoming Rogue residency can be found here.
