Add some texture to your art portfolio with Utrecht Art Supplies’ free upcoming demo Creating Alternative Surfaces on September 8. The two-hour demonstration will be lead by mixed-media artist, Beth Kramer and explore the use of acrylic to create added dimension to your canvas.
Kramer will be working with materials including pumice stone, modeling paste, crackle paste, fiber paste, and acrylic ground for pastels — all of which will be available for purchase at Utrecht for a special 20 percent off following the demo.
The event is from 1 to 3 p.m. with allotted time for guests to ask questions and try their hand at the materials. Actual seating is limited to 25 people, however standing room will still be available to any additional participants and walk-in artists.
