Edge Radio FM 103.9 is kicking off its first Third Thursday installment under it’s new moniker with some big name talent. The radio station, formerly known as The Edge, will host its Third Thursday block party between Dos Gringos and Upper Deck Sports Grill in downtown Scottsdale, Thursday, July 16 with a performance from Unwritten Law lead singer Scott Russo. Other acts include Unwritten Law’s Suburban Noize label mate/hip-hop artist Big B — Russo sings on the rapper’s track “Sinner” from the album American Underdog — and local buzz acts Miniature Tigers and Emerald Honor.
The monthly concert series, which is always held on the third Thursday of the month (hence the name), has featured bands like Sponge, Joshua Radin, Peachcake, Deer & The Headlights and The Bollox in the past. This month’s show is sure to be one of their biggest to date. And have we mentioned that it’s free? There will also be 50 cent Budweiser products for the all-ages street party.
