One new idea for every day in 2011. We’re talking big, small, local,
international, in action and on the drawing board. Here’s today’s —
what’s yours?

Scott Wade‘s a Texan artist surrounded by dirt. He lives at the end of a mile and a half dirt road that’s heavy in limestone and gravel clay.

Wade could wash his car every day after his drive home, but after experimenting with a few brushes and embracing the dirt, he writes that he’d rather use his back windshield as a canvas, of sorts.

He’s “painted” a number of friends cars and even does commissions for local car dealerships, music videos, and pet festivals (hey, it’s Texas).

Check out more of Wade’s work on his website and maybe the next time you see a dusty windshield, you’ll come up with something a little more clever than “Wash Me.”
