No, no animals we know of were harmed in the production of Rosie Bear, but you could certainly put your eye out with the long-ass needle artist (and high school senior!) Amanda Williams uses to create her needle-felted wool animal heads. You’ve seen them in Quick PHX — New Times’ pocket guide to Phoenix — and we know where you can buy them. 

She’s hanging on the wall at Kooky Krafts. Rosie Bear is priced at $150, and you can dibs her right now on Kooky Krafts’ Facebook page. 
Or visit Kooky Krafts (it’s worth the visit!) at 1500 Grand Avenue, but it does have limited hours, so you might be better off calling owner Beatrice Moore at 602.391.4016.
