$15,000

I know a lot of people are planning to go out to The Loveblisters’ last show Saturday night, but there’s another cool show that night, this one for a good cause. Allen Shellenberger, drummer of the California band Lit, was diagnosed with brain cancer a year ago and the age of 38 and one of his Arizona friends, Brian Teille, is holding a benefit for him Saturday night at Club Red. The show is $10 and there will be an auction and a raffle tickets, special T-shirts, and custom drumsticks to commemorate the night. Check out more event details here. The bands that are playing are here (the only one I’ve heard of is Third and Maryland). I know we’ve got some Lit fans out there, judging by the turnout at their December show, so support Allen if you can.
