Last month Casey Lynch reviewed Fat Rhabit‘s self-titled debut EP, giving the local rockers a pretty glowing assessment. Just this morning, the band’s manager Sean Shepherd sent over a couple new tunes from the Rhabit’s upcoming full-length “rock opera-ish” album, due out around March. The Grand Rapids transplants churn out remarkably accomplished yet straightforward rock shit, with emotive (but not “emo”) vocals. This could be classic rock one day. For the time being, let’s call it contemporary.
