One new idea for every day in 2011. We’re talking big, small, local, international, in action, and on the drawing board. Here’s today’s — what’s yours?

If you’re planning on a low-budget, last-minute, or lazy costume for Halloween, dressing like your friends (or yourself) is always a safe bet.
But if you want to take it to the next level or really be the creepiest person at the party, Japanese designers at Real-f have just the trick.

REALFACES, the company’s hyper-realistic masks, are made from a “three-dimensional photo form” (also called 3DPF), which creates a duplicate every pore, blood vessel, and freckle on your face with the help of a very expensive camera and printer.
Real-f is currently taking orders online and marketing the product as a “memorial portrait” that you or a loved one can leave behind.
We’ll just take it to the party.
