“The Joe and Jan Show” @ 335 Commons It’s no secret Governor Jan Brewer and Sheriff Joe Arpaio deal in antics.
The duo has done more than inspire headlines, though, as 11 artists, including Jeff Falk, Annie Lopez, and Peter Bugg, used the pair as inspiration for works in the exhibition “The Joe and Jan Show.” With drawings, paintings, and sculpture, the show looks at the politically polarizing twosome through a critical lens.

Rendez-vous with French Cinema @ FilmBar Throughout March FilmBar hosts screenings of contemporary French flicks picked from the annual festival, Rendez-vous with French Cinema. Saturday features Alice Winocour’s Augustine, a tale of hysteria and hypnosis, at 2 and 8:30 p.m., while Sunday brings breakup drama Persecution, starring Romain Duris and Charlotte Gainsbourg, at the same times. Tickets are $8.
