Gospel Claws upcoming record, C-L-A-W-S, isn’t due until October but the first single, “Summer Nights Lakeside” was made available for download from Magnet Magazine earlier this week.
“The song is great summer sing-a-long about camping, drinking beer, and drowning,” they claim.
Another track, “Walk Me Down” is available on Bob Hoag’s studio compilation CD This is Flying Blanket Vol. II, a record that is making some headway on college radio.
The band will also be playing shows with The Smith Family Band
on July 17 at Yucca Tap Room and Snake! Snake! Snakes! on August 11 at Rhythm Room.
