After some hardcore investigation, we finally uncovered something that James Franco doesn’t completely excel at.

Actually, it wasn’t that difficult. The new collaboration between the actor (And director, and author, and artist, and producer, and screenwriter and Ivy League student, and, I don’t know, let’s say koi fish trainer?) and New York-based androgynous performance artist Kalup Linzy is being promoted pretty hard. This isn’t the first time the two have worked together: They both appeared on General Hospital (for real).
Part techno, part TV on The Radio, Franco is pretty much a regular Kyp Malone. Except, you know, shitty at music.
It’s not all bad, though. There are certain parts of the song where it’s almost like Franco is whispering directly into your ear. And for James Francophiles, that’s totally worth the totally-not-worth-it price of a $12 seven inch.
