Sorry to be the bearers of bad tidings to all you Ingrid Michaelson fans out there in the PHX, but the indie pop singer’s concert — scheduled to go down tonight at Martini Ranch in Scottsdale — was canceled within the last 24 hours.

We checked the Web site for show promoter Lucky Man Concerts to get the skinny on why Michaelson’s gig was axed, only to find the text “SHOW CANCELLED” on the event’s listing page in red capital letters. No reason for the cancellation was specified.

“This event has been cancelled. Refunds offered at point of purchase. For more info please call Marquee Box Office at #480-829-1300,” was all that was posted on the Web page.

We called the above number and a ticket agent reiterated the concert was off, offering no explanation or any possible makeup date.

“But…I’m too hot to be cancelled!?!?!”
