Feathers will surely fly at the one-year anniversary party of downtown Phoenix’s Hotel Palomar. On Wednesday, June 5, the hotel hot spot will host a pillow fight and party to show off the new look of its LUSTRE Rooftop Garden.

The evening’s events will begin at 6 p.m. with a pillow fight in the hotel’s second-floor Living Room. If you like idea but feel a little under prepared for the social pillow fight scene — as opposed to the private slumber party side of things, of course — don’t worry. Not only is the hotel going to provide the pillows, they’ll also have staff on hand to get you up to date on the proper fight techniques and tips.
Those looking for a little liquid courage before getting in on the action will be able to take advantage of $1 signature cocktails from Blue Hound Kitchen and Cocktails, the hotel’s restaurant.

After the feathers settle, the party moves upstairs to the LUSTRE Rooftop Garden for complimentary eats, cocktails, a juice bar, sphere dancers, and table tennis, all set to the beats of DJ Al Page. The recently upgraded oasis offers views of the downtown landscape from the third floor pool deck.
The LUSTRE Rooftop Garden Debut Party will end at 10 p.m., and both events are free and open to the public. The LUSTRE bar is open to guests 21-and-over only.
