Looking for something to do this weekend? “Night Owl” is a quick guide to special nights at bars and clubs around town. We’ll give you a few hints re: cover, dress code, music and atmosphere. Saturdays mark Kiss Me I’m Irish Saturday at Teakwood’s Tavern and Grill. Softly strummed acoustic rock on one side. ESPN, Nascar and numerous flat screens on another. A deluge of Dublin approved drink specials in the middle. The Phoenix location of Teakwood’s Tavern and Grill has no specific identity and Kiss Me I’m Irish Saturday is no different. The Place:

arcade games and live music is actually a fairly fun free for all of an evening. Plus you can throw peanut shells on the floor, which is always a good time.
What we didn’t love: The casual chaos of the evening was completed by more than one waitress having no idea what exactly was in the Tavern Lemonade. Based upon taste we think it was a mix of strawberry, vodka and lime with a sugar rim.
Are we going back? Maybe, although we didn’t get kissed.
