Chow Bella and Roosevelt Row’s Pie Social 2011 If anyone takes pie seriously, we do. This year’s Chow Bella Pie Social totally proved that, and we have pictures just incase there was any doubt. The proof is in the filling.

Steampunk Street III in Downtown Mesa Some folks say they were born in the wrong decade. But in the case of steampunkers, they’re off by about a century. Evermore Nevermore hosted the third Steampunk Street party. Visitors prowled the streets in bustled skirts and three-piece suits for an eyeful of curiosities, including a Victorian fashion show at OneOhOne Gallery.

Certified Local Festival 2011 The forecast said weather would be bad, but other than a few few clouds it was all sun-shiney smiles at the Certified Local Festival. More than 60 local, independent businesses showcased the goods while browsers listened to music from Sunset Electrics, Loose Cannons Blues Band, and more.
