If you’re walking the streets of Berlin, you might want to look both ways before crossing the street — mainly to look out for the Bier Bike
The contraption is powered by 16 riders who peddle atop bar stools while downing a liter (or six) from the bike’s keg.
If peddling while chugging isn’t enough to make riders puke, the Bier Bike is also equipped with bottles of German sparkling wine and a booming sound system that streams German pop music.

The Bier Bike hit the streets of Berlin in 2009, and the bike’s driver/manager, Ulli, writes there have yet to be any accidents or injuries. He also notes that he’s the one steering and navigating the narrow streets while the drunk crew behind him pedals.
Ulli takes reservations throughout the week (except for Saturdays) and offers specials for parties and sports teams. For more info, check out the Bier Bike website
