Weekend DUI Patrols: Phoenix, Tempe, and Glendale

Drunk driving is bad.

With that out of the way, here’s where police will be setting up “saturation patrols” around the Valley, looking for impaired drivers this weekend:

• Wednesday through Saturday: From 7 p.m. to 4 a.m., Phoenix police will have saturation patrols in six precincts, based near 27th Avenue and Thunderbird Road, 16th Street and Highland Road, 40th Street and Greenway Road, 16th Street and I-17, Central Avenue and Broadway Road, and 51st Avenue and I-10. In addition to those, the East Valley DUI Task Force will be in Phoenix on Friday, near 28th Street and Indian School Road.

• Saturday: The East Valley DUI Task Force will be in Tempe from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m. The listed address is near Mill Avenue and University Drive.
