It’s been a while since a local band graced the cover of a popular music magazine, but East Valley pop-punksters The Maine will do just that in March. The guys, who are making tween and teen girls’ hearts throb all over the U.S., will have their mugs plastered on the cover of Alternative Press Magazine along with a cushy feature inside. The band will also headline the AP Tour, which kicks off March 20 in Dallas and will run through May 9 in support of their Fearless Records disc Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop.

The tour swings into Tempe’s Marquee Theatre on Tuesday, March 24 and will also feature Family Force 5, 3OH!3, Hit the Lights, and A Rocket to the Moon. Tickets are $18-$21.
