Congratulations, Conor Jackson!

You may be the first member of the Arizona Diamondbacks lucky enough to be shipped out of town and out of the National League West basement.

And the best part is that you may be playing for a first-place team.

According to a report from Fox Sport’s Ken Rosenthal, the Texas Rangers are looking to trade for Jackson.

$30,000

While nothing is certain yet, this possibility bodes well for Jackson, batting a paltry .238 with only one home run and 11 runs batted in this season.

The left fielder might appreciate a change of scenery, especially one that involves a shot at the playoffs.

The Rangers, per the report, are looking to help out rookie first baseman Justin Smoak, who is struggling against left-handed pitching this year.

“Co-Jack” is making $3.1 million this season, and it appears the Rangers are willing to trade away a prospect or two from their farm system to make this deal happen.

This could actually work in the D-Backs favor. They could get a young player or two for the future. While Jackson is only 28, he probably isn’t part of the future here in Phoenix — and he should be elated about that.
