Reader support matters more than ever
We're in the final stretch of our summer campaign. Our goal is to raise $15,000 by August 9 to support the journalism our community relies on. Reader support is helping shape the future of local news.

Arizona DOT cameras show a pickup truck that was on fire in the HOV lane on Loop 202 at 32nd Street, and an ADOT spokesman says those are crates of spilled mangoes seen everywhere.
That truck was on fire about a half-hour before this post, but at the time of this post, all the lanes except the HOV lane are open, although the traffic still looks like a damn mess.
