Yesterday, we posted a video billed as supposed police “brutality” during a physical arrest in Mesa that doesn’t appear to be very brutal.

The video, which has thousands of hits on YouTube, does include a pretty physical arrest, as well as a cop getting in a crash on his way to help, an old man trying to jump in, some (unintentionally) hilarious commentary, and more.

We’re still waiting on all the information from Mesa PD, but they did confirm that Mesa officers are the ones in the video, and that one of the officers coming to help did get in a car accident in the intersection right next to the struggle.

However, the video should be all you need to determine whether there was any “brutality” involved.

It does seem pretty physical, as blows are thrown at one point, and you can here the stun-gun buzzing. However, the guy seems to be resisting the arrest throughout the entire episode — thus the dog-pile of cops trying to keep him down, and restrain him.

Check out the video below, and let us know, do you think this is a case of brutality?
