Three people — including a 14-year-old boy — were injured during a drive-by shooting in west Phoenix last night, and the shooter is still on the loose.

The Phoenix Police Department says the three victims were walking to a birthday party in a neighborhood near 23rd Avenue and Indian School Road about 9:40 p.m. yesterday when they were approached by a vehicle.

The victims, ages 14, 19, and 24, watched as the vehicle made a U-turn and drove past them again — this time, however, a passenger in the vehicle opened fire.

Each of the victims were hit at least once — one was reportedly hit in the neck, another in the leg, and the third in the lower back.

All of the injuries are not considered life-threatening, and each of the victims are expected to recover.

The two suspects in the case, the driver and the shooter in the passenger seat, are only described as Hispanic males. The vehicle is described as a maroon four-door sedan.

A motive for the shooting is unclear.
