Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu’s dropped his congressional bid earlier this week to run for sheriff again, pushing his Chief Deputy, Steve Henry, out of his bid for sheriff.
This must have been a real awkward conversation Babeu decided
(in his own best interests) he had to have with Henry, with Babeu
explaining why the loyal Henry had to drop out of the running for the office of
sheriff.
For this, we salute Babeu and Henry with an appearance in this week’s New Times You Write the Caption contest.
The rules for You Write the Caption are simple: We provide the picture (above), and you provide the caption to that photo — of Babeu at the lectern and Henry to his right (our left) — in the comments below.
On
Monday, we’ll announce the top-five reader captions and put them to a
vote. The winner will receive a pay-your-own-way trip to the historic New Times building for a firm handshake and/or a high-five.
Do your best (or worst), New Times readers.
