If you’re running from the law, posting your exact location on Facebook probably isn’t the best idea — just ask 36-year-old Matthew Ledbetter, who was arrested in Chandler on Friday on a warrant out of Oregon.

Chandler Police Department spokesman Seth Tyler tells New Times Ledbetter has an active warrant for his arrest out of Oregon for failing to pay child support.

On Friday, his ex-wife noticed that he’d posted on his Facebook page that he was working on a construction crew at the Chandler Fashion Square.

The wife then called the cops to let them know where they could find Ledbetter.

Chandler police confirmed with authorities in Oregon that Ledbetter was a fugitive, then they headed to the mall.

With the help of mall security, Chandler police were able to track down the construction crew, and take Ledbetter into custody.

Ledbetter was booked into a Maricopa County jail on $5,000 bond. Authorities in Oregon are in the process of extraditing Ledbetter back to their state.
