A Kingman police officer hit the club early Friday morning, but only because he was looking for the lady who locked her children in a bedroom so she could go hang out at that club.
Amanda Marie Morse, a 24-year-old Kingman resident, had left her youngsters locked in the room for a couple hours before the cop came to the club to pick her up, according to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
Around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, Morse’s brother-in-law stopped by the house, and he called the cops after he found out that the children, ages 4 and 5, were the only ones home.
The door to the bedroom was locked from the outside, and the kids were sleeping at the time, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Morse’s brother-in-law told deputies that Morse said earlier in the day that she would be going out to a club in Kingman.
Sure enough, a Kingman PD officer went to the club, found her there, and brought her back to her house.
Investigators with the Sheriff’s Office found out that the kids had been locked in the room by themselves for “a minimum” of two hours, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The youngsters were released to a relative, and Morse was booked on two counts of child abuse.
