The Arizona Legislature has proved incapable of sneaking craziness past the Daily Show.
Although Governor Jan Brewer announced Wednesday evening that she had vetoed SB 1062, the so-called “religious freedom” bill, the Daily Show and host Jon Stewart already had their smackdown of Arizona ready to go.

If you watch the clips, then you know that the entire segment isn’t dedicated to Arizona-bashing, but it’s evident that even before Stewart’s bits, SB 1062 did extreme harm to Arizona’s image, even though it didn’t become law.As Stewart put it, while mentioning SB 1070 and the state’s voter-ID law, and noting that at least Arizona has good weather, “If you had your attitude in Seattle’s weather, you would be the world’s largest used condom and nuclear waste dump.”Got a tip?
