You might wanna sit for this one — that goes double for Fido.

On Saturday, May 7, the Good Stuff Pet Truck is coming to the Valley. And you and your furry pals won’t want to miss it.

The truck will be at Cesar Chavez Park, 7858 South 35th Avenue in Laveen Village, from 9 a.m. to noon. Expect free treats, demonstrations, and Q&A sessions with a local dog trainer.

Cat people, they didn’t forget you. Cat treats will be available, too. (The cats don’t care, but still.)

What’s more, the Good Stuff Pet Truck is equipped with a mock backyard lounge area, ideal for dog and owner selfies. But the whole point of this dog-and-pony show is to educate pet owners about ideal weights for their animals and how they can use positive reinforcement as a model method of dog training.

“When dogs are fit and trained using positive reinforcement, they’re happier dogs,” says certified animal behavior consultant, syndicated pet columnist, and radio host Steve Dale in a press release.
Which makes for a pretty good excuse to spoil your pup. Y’know, within reason.
