So hot you want to shave your head, Phoenix? Instead, grab tickets to the next edition of Bar Flies and head downstairs to Valley Bar on Thursday, July 14. 

The theme is Hair. Amy Silverman’s curating, and she’ll be reading along with Kathy Cano-Murillo, Laurie Notaro, Robrt Pela and Brian Smith. Jason P. Woodbury is providing the playlist. Books and T-shirts will be on sale. Drinks, too, of course. 

Make sure to buy your tickets early. Doors open at 6 p.m., show’s at 7.
