I have been a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Culture, Media & Creative Industries at King’s College London since July 2022. Before that, I was a Professor of Digital Media & Creative Industries and Head of the School of International Communications at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China, where I worked from 2007 to 2020. I was also the director of the AHRC Centre for Digital Copyright and IP Research in China
My research has been published primarily in the form of journal articles, book chapters and newspaper articles. My first single-authored monograph was released in 2014 by Palgrave Macmillan and was entitled Digital Media & Society: transforming economics, politics and social practices
