Stop by Westgate Entertainment District every Tuesday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., September 23 through October 28, for free fitness classes led by lifestyle and fitness coach Nina Carr. These all-levels courses will feature kickboxing, pilates, yoga, core-strengthening, intervals, and dance. Refreshments and music will be provided. Guests should bring their own mats. Writing Workshop – Five Plots a Day: Turning Newspaper Articles into Novels
At 6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23, Glendale Foothills Library will host a free class led by best-selling mystery author Betty Webb that teaches aspiring authors how to look for story content in everyday newspaper clippings. On Wednesday, September 24, downtown co-working space CO+HOOTS is inviting creative business types and bowling enthusiasts alike to join them at Let It Roll Bowl for an evening of striking down pins and striking up conversation.
