Independent Journalism in Phoenix Needs You
We need to raise $15,000 by August 9 to support the reporting our community depends on. Reader support keeps us independent and is playing a larger role in funding local journalism and shaping what comes next. If you believe independent local journalism matters, make a contribution today.
The ground-breaking immigration documentary 9500 Liberty enjoyed a sold-out premiere at the Harkins Valley Art last week.
You missed it? Good news. Special screenings will be held today, Saturday and Sunday (May 7-9) at the Valley Art, 509 S. Mill Avenue in Tempe, hosted by director Annabel Park.
Tickets and showtimes are available here. The movie will screen at additional Harkins locations this weekend, with Q&As from the movie’s producer and Eric Baylor, Park’s co-director.
