Were you an ASU football fan in 2008? We’re sorry. Not only did you endure a 5-7 overall record, but also a six-game tailspin and a bowl-killing embarrassment in Tucson.
Before the iffy 2009 campaign opens September 5 against Idaho State, Sun Devil fans can participate in a win-win on Saturday, April 18. First, there’s Pat’s Run, a 4.2-mile open-to-whomever jaunt in the name of the late Pat Tillman that ends at the 42-yard line of Sun Devil Stadium. Then check out the ASU Spring Game, which should feature all four quarterbacks – senior Danny Sullivan, sophomore Samson Szakacsy, redshirt freshman Chasen Stangel, and true freshman Brock Osweiler – making their claims for QB1.
The run commences at 7 a.m., the game at 12:30 p.m.
