In case you haven’t heard, Medlock Plaza‘s throwing a pretty sweet party tonight.
The complex on Camelback Road and Central Avenue in Phoenix is home to candy shop Smeeks, vintage spot Frances, record store Stinkweeds, and piercing and accessory store Halo. And tonight, the businesses will stay open for the third annual Caramelpalooza, a community caramel tasting hosted by Smeeks and our sister blog, Chow Bella.
To top off the deal, Frances Studio — the pop-up property run by Smeeks and Frances owner Georganne Bryant — will reopen full of summer-themed goods.
It’s no secret that Bryant can spot (and snatch up) an assortment colorful eye candy for her shops. Her shops were featured in a 14-page spread inside Holiday with Matthew Mead, and have been full of stylish kids, Xavier moms, and neighborhood shoppers. From what we hear, the pop-up is packed with her latest finds.

Frances Studio, at 10 W. Camelback Road, will be opening Friday at 7 p.m., and regular store hours will continue; Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m..
