Allow us to wax philosophical for a moment as we contemplate the meaning of human existence. Is it to find love? To seek enlightenment? Don’t be naive. If late-night TV commercials and the constant stream of video uploads on YouTube are any indication, the root of the human experience is non sequitur bullshit and penis jokes. Luckily, we have the awkward duo of Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim to unite these realms of comedy into one painful vision.
How painful? Check out the Adult Swim team’s mock commercial for the board game Not Jackie Chan in which players must name 10 things that aren’t the man who does his own stunts. It’s a punch line in itself, right? Sure, until the segment ends with one player holding down a buzzer and staring into the camera with criminally insane eyes while his friends writhe in pain from the sound.
Very painful. And hilarious.
