A night of bowling usually involves smelly shoes and dirt-encrusted finger holes, not to mention armies of gutter-ball-throwing kids hyped up on sugar.

A more adult-friendly experience can be had at Arcadia Tavern’s Wii Bowling Tournament, every Wednesday night (for those ages 21-and-older). Teams of four will swing their joysticks to try and knock down virtual pins for prizes.

What’s even better than not having to wear clown shoes? Players can take advantage of $3.50 Newcastle and $4 Tequila Sunrise specials to keep them loose and limber all night long, and members of each week’s top team get a $25 gift card. At the end of 14 weeks of preliminary tourneys that will qualify players to participate in the finals, the winning team scores $1,000.
