Take seat, cinephiles. Moviegoing on Mill Avenue is about to get a whole lot better.

The 11-theater complex will open at 730 S. Mill Ave., the former location of MADCAP Theaters and, before that, a Harkins.
The 37,645 square-foot location will undergo renovation leading up to the re-opening. According to a representative from DMB Inc., Centerpoint’s development company, renovation plans include adding stadium-style seating with the reclining seats and footrests, adding state-of-the-art sound systems, and digital projectors. Concession areas are also getting a makeover, while the theater’s menu items will be expanded to include 120-plus drink options, including beer and wine offerings.
