Terrorist mastermind Osama Bin Laden is roasting in hell’s fiery embrace, there’s a renewed sense of patriotism sweeping the nation, and we even heard Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the U.S.A.” getting airplay the other day.
Sounds like the perfect time to stage an all-American affair such as the Classic Cars & Country Music Festival. Cowpokes and patriots alike will descend upon Salt River Fields, 7555 North Pima Road in Scottsdale, for a day filled with the American-made staples of cherry cars and country crooners. National recording artist and local boy Ty Herndon and country cutie-pie Amber Hayes are scheduled to perform, while hot rodders will be showing off more than 500 vintage rides.
