One new idea for every day in 2011. We’re talking big, small, local,
international, in action and on the drawing board. Here’s today’s —
what’s yours?
In 2011, New York-based designer and entrepreneur Mike Bodge created an equation and a website to answer a simple question:
What’s the average color of the New York City sky?
The result is a grid that’s updated every 5 minutes with colored boxes and images of the New York sky — taken with his webcam.
Bodge writes that he’s working on expanding his project to include images and sky colors from around the world. “Do you have a great view, a webcam, and an internet connection?” he writes. “I’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch.”
