After years of oscillating between Jekyll and Hyde, the Arizona Coyotes have finally established an identity. The bad news is that the Yotes have settled on Hyde. Pretty much every player has struggled (with the exception of All-Star defender Oliver Eckman-Larsson) and the end result is one of the worst teams in the NHL.
The Coyotes have nothing left to play for but pride, which lends a lot of importance to Thursday, February 5’s matchup against the lowly Carolina Hurricanes at Gila River Arena, 9400 West Maryland. If the Coyotes can pull out a victory, they can at least take solace in not being the worst team in the league.
The puck drops at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $18 and are available online via www.ticketmaster.com.
