Dan Harkins, owner and CEO of the Harkins Theatres chain, will be speaking Wednesday, March 6, at his Valley Art Theatre, on Mill Avenue in Tempe, about just that.

“From the Eye of an Entrepreneur, an Inside Look at Film Exhibition” will focus on the role theater operators play in the movie business and how to be successful at running a theater.
The lecture, sponsored by the ASU Barrett Honors College, will end with a question-and-answer session for those with burning entrepreneurial questions.
The event starts at 4:30 p.m., but you can RSVP on the Barrett College website.
