This could be the start of something good. The inaugural Arizona Vegetarian Food Festival is coming to the Scottsdale Civic Center Amphitheater, 3939 North Drinkwater Boulevard. The event will feature a series of activities and speakers, and, of course, lots of veggie food for sampling. Headliners include Madelyn Pryor, Jason Wyrick, and Lauren Walls.
The Arizona Vegetarian Food Festival is on Saturday, January 10, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. General admission is $20, VIP tickets are available for $50, and children under 10 are admitted for free. Note that tickets at the door are cash only. For more information, visit azvegfoodfest.com.
